E-Max features: Wide 3-Inch flush valve provides a quick, consistent and powerful flush. Large 2-1/8-Inch trapway is glazed to optimize waste passage. Pilot-operated fill valve ensures quiet operation and a clean shutoff at any water pressure. Extra-large siphon jet works in conjunction with the large glazed trapway, the siphon jet pulls away waste with incredible force. Toto's SoftClose seat is the latest in innovative smart seat technology with Comfortable Ergonomic Design, Molded Bumpers, and High Gloss Polypropylene. (Resistant to Chemicals and Cleaning Agents.) Constructed of solid, high-impact plastic, this unique seat is specifically designed to reduce injury and to eliminate annoying "Toilet Seat Slam". Bought this because I wanted the modern low profile look in my guest bath remodel. But I was concerned that the low tank might reduce the overall flushing power. Not so. Although it only uses 1.28 gallons per flush, it's a more efficient, more powerful, and more thorough flusher than the old 7 gallon flusher it replaced. Absolutely no double flushes with this stool. It is extremely well engineered and quite attractive as well. It also fills up very quickly (about 20 secs) and is reasonably quite. I am extremely pleased and will purchase another when the time comes. In truth, I made the initial mistake of trying to replace the original 7 gallon flusher with a cheapo I purchased at one of those national home improvement stores. Looked great, on sale, I was sold. Installed it and discovered that you really do get what you pay for in low flow toilets. The cheapo often needed 2-3 flushes to clear solid waste and even clogged up with too much paper. Not good for a guest bath. So after several months of frustration, I finally bit the bullet and bought the more expensive Toto after asking around a couple of real plumbing stores. The difference was instant and amazing. I've had it now for nearly 6 months and not one double flush, not one clogged bowl. It not only works better than the cheapo low flow, it actually works far better than the old 7 gallon. I simply couldn't believe it. I was one of those who honestly thought low flow toilets were pointless since you often have to flush it 2 or 3 times. Not with this model. Toto really does make a superior machine. It's not just the flushing structures in the tank that matters, it's actually the engineering of the bowl and outlet pipes that makes the real difference. I will never again think a low flow toilet is inferior to the old full flushers. It really is all in the engineering.

We are very satisfied with the Toto toilet we purchased through Amazon. The toilet uses a minimum of water and flushes very quickly, removing everything with one flush leaving no stains. It is also very easy to clean.

Works great - just when you thought that there is no way that everything would go down, everything goes down. The water surface area is much larger than the majority of other low flow toilets out there.
