HASH(0xa65f49d8) out of 5 stars Inconsistent Quality May 2 2014

I've standardized on the Macgregor dimpled baseballs because of the quality and price. I was very concerned about the balls being too hard and liked that the outer shell was somewhat soft. I bought (2) dozen recently and (1) dozen was soft and consistent with my other balls. The other dozen was hard as a rock. i'm going to return that dozen and hopefully get the one from the soft production run. There are some quality issues that Macgregor needs to address with their manufacturer.

HASH(0xa65f4c00) out of 5 stars Great for Pitching Machines July 3 2013

We use these balls with a pitching machine. They fly much truer than a baseball will out of the machine. They also do not absorb water the way a leather ball does.

I have experience using Juggs yellow dimple balls too, and these are essentially indistinguishable from the Juggs balls.

HASH(0xa65f4e58) out of 5 stars Good for pitching machines. Oct. 21 2012

I have a Zooka pitching matchine and I get very good consistency with these balls at 45mph and higher. They are much more accurate than real baseballs. The balls are a little bouncey so you may get a false sense of distance with your hits.

Work great with heater pitching machine - The color helps with eye coordination for younger ball player - Practice with these and regular baseball to improve game

HASH(0xa62cc3fc) out of 5 stars Great value May 6 2013

Not as nice as the jugs sting free balls, but they are almost half the price. They work well in the Louisville slugger upm 45 pitching machine. They are more consistent than real baseballs. They have held up well in the concrete batting cages as well. Good value.
