Good Fun,
By Boysmon (Alberta, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Macdonald Hall: Wizzle War (Paperback)
As with all of this series, this is a fun book to read. I have an eight and a 10 year old boy and they both enjoy this series. I usually read aloud to them at night and we all get some good laughs. You can't go wrong with Gorden Korman!

This book shaped my childhood, man,
By Becky (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Macdonald Hall: Wizzle War (Paperback)
I first read this book when I was nine years old. It was called The War With Mr Wizzle back in those olden days. Anyhow, I read it and I just about plotzed! The Fish! Oh man, the Fish! The Fish is anything and everything a headmaster should be, man. And Bruno and Boots! They are permanently and forever the greatest pair of best friends ever born. And Mr Wizzle is humourously by-the-books and Elmer is so geekishly cute and Peabody is so darn military! Not to mention the Scrimmage girls--when I was nine I wanted to be Cathy!Anyhow, this is one of the greatest books ever written and a classic of children's humour literature. Gordon Korman is a master second only to Daniel Pinkwater. If you can afford to purchase this book, do!
