From School Library Journal
Gr 1-3--The perpetually popular detective is back. Meg and her soccer team are competing for a gold medal. The young sleuth becomes more concerned with clues, however, when the medal disappears from the awards table. This short book offers a good bridge between easy readers and longer chapter books. The clues are clearly presented and questions prompt readers to remember important details. The pen-and-ink illustrations follow the plot closely. At the end, all of the clues fit together and the mystery is solved.
