This a wonderful disc. These two people are a ball to watch. The interaction between the actors is great. You really believe these people have deep feelings for each other. The episodes are well written, and the rest of the supporting cast rounds the show out nicely.

Mad About You is one of the most warm, wonderful, brilliantly acted, and magically hilarious shows ever created. Right from the pilot episode it was phenomenal, and the second season is as much a treasure as the first. I couldn't recommend this show more highly.
As for the quality of the DVD, it is better than the first season's release but naturally, since it's a Sony aka Columbia-Tristar release, not up to the quality of any other studio's DVD releases.
Sony possesses the most notoriously incompetent DVD department of any major studio, releasing half-baked efforts and then refusing to make tons of money (brilliant strategy, guys) by sitting on such legendary shows as All In The Family and Mad About You while other studios release every TV show ever made, regardless of quality.
One can only hope that some day the DVD department at Sony will be overhauled and someone able to do their job properly brought in. They currently, tragicaly, have no plans to release any more seasons of Mad About You. I suppose that since they've announced that they're finally going to be releasing the third season of All In The Family, there is some slight hope that we may one day be able to enjoy all of Mad About You once more. In the mean-time, buy the first two seasons on DVD and enjoy!

I hope it's in production -- though I loved much of the series, all my favorite episodes are from that season, notably "Our Fifteen Minutes."
