Animated Fun For The Whole Family,

The Madagascar movies are turning into a bit of a franchise. The first one was fantastic and this one is even better. I have both on Blu-Ray and the colours and animation are top notch. This will appeal to every member of your family from 3 years to 300! The penguins are a riot and so is the bonus short featuring the penguins. I was surprised and delighted to hear BOSTON's "More Than A Feeling" in the movie. It was touching and wonderful and a great tribute to a fantastic band and deceased BOSTON lead vocalist Brad Delp.

Madagascar 2 sees the likeable characters from the first movie try to return to their New York home. The first film seemed to me a bit short, ending abruptly. In that regard the second is more satisfying. The music isn't as good, but the story has plenty of adventure and gags to keep both kids and adults entertained.

I think that this movie is actually better than the first and it is nice because even if you haven't seen the first one it makes sense. Love the penguins.
