Book Description

Oct 11 2005

We all desperately want to leave a positive imprint on the world. We want to leave things and people better than we found them – to be remembered well. And so, we dread the idea that, in the end, our lives might not count for much.

Made to Count drives straight to the heart of that fear of failure. It will help you discover your God-designed purpose – to find your lifes true meaning and live your lifes greatest passion.

Using eight powerful biblical principles that are revolutionizing peoples lives, as well as the fascinating stories of those changed by them, Reccord and Singer teach you how to hear Gods call and discover His specific plan for you. These principles transcend time, cultures, and occupations. They are broadly universal and, yet, individually unique.

This astonishing book can change your  life . . . then you can change your world. Read it now and discover the potential you have to make a significant difference in the world – how you have been divinely made to count.

Format:Hardcover
A brief glance at television listings, magazine articles, and best seller lists reveals that people want their lives to mean something more than just breathing. Most know they want something but the questions are what and how to get there? Books like the Purpose Driven Life have capitalized on this, but just knowing you have a purpose doesn't tell you where to drive it.

The authors have devised an atlas to help you get there. If one is Christian, then according to one of the Creeds, our purpose is chiefly to glorify God, and their point is that no matter what the seconary purpose of our life might be, we have a ministry. God can use anyone from a President to a pot scrubber. They have even included tools to help you know more about who you are and how you are wired to serve.

**** If you have any interest in knowing why you are here and finding out what makes you unique; or how to deal with all the other unique people out there, then read this book. It is both spiritually and psychologically sound; and while very intellectual, is communicated on a level accessible to all. ****
