About the Author
MARY POPE OSBORNE is the author of the New York Times number one bestselling Magic Tree House series. She and her husband, writer Will Osborne (author of Magic Tree House: The Musical), live in northwestern Connecticut with their three dogs. Ms. Osborne is also the coauthor of the companion Magic Tree House Fact Trackers series with Will, and with her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce.

He is also a librettist for children's opera, a video artist, an avid runner, hiker, and bicyclist, and a teacher of children's illustration at the Parsons School of Design. Anyone familiar with Mary Pope OSborne's Magic Tree House series will want to add this one to their collection. Mary has a wonderful ability to inspire children to keep on reading and often to do further research on the topic introduced in the tree house books. This one is no exception. Well worth the price.

If your kids enjoy the Magic Treehouse series they will like this book. If they are not into this storyline then don't waste your time or money!

I started this series with my then 6 year old son. Since we started we have been adding to his collection for birthdays and christmas. He loves the stories and has learned some interesting facts that he loves to share with everyone. It is the perfect reading level for him. I highly recommend the series.
