As of June 1, 2002, 9,636 books have been sold. The book is now a best seller.
The new musical Magic Mandala Screen Saver, consisting of 12 high resolution, brilliantly colored, animated mandalas is also selling very well; a preview can be seen on the author's website.
In 1999 the book won an award by Coalition of Visionary Retailers in the Self Help category. Dover Publishing Inc. purchased 44 of the designs and now publishes its version entitled: Mandala Designs by Martha Bartfeld. In the year 2000, the Italian rights were sold and the book is now published in Italian, in large format, 2 volumes.

"I find myself coloring your captivating designs while saying my rosary and it has developed into a meditative ritual, stirring long-ago blocked memories from my childhood. Although these memories are painful, they have miraculously offered me some insight into the bewildering images, issues and nightmares I have been living with all my life."I have even found the courage to talk with my younger sister about it and we ended up comparing notes. Many of these closed doors we both utilized to shut away memories of abuse at our father's hand have started to open and pour forth their secrets for her, too! "Now we can begin the long journey of healing our hearts from these devastating events which have all but ruined our lives without our even knowing or understanding their origins. Excellent packaging, which makes it an ideal journal to have with you at all times; office, home, or meditation/contemplation respites in nature. Business travel and airports stress me. Packing my mandala coloring books for easy access during flights, has eased my stress level by giving me something to focus on, that brings me pleasure and a sense of peace. Martha Bartfeld's Mandala Coloring Book is now my 'travel companion, in-flight activity and stress reliever of choice', due mainly to it's compact size and the ease and convenience to carry. I highly reccomend this book to people of all ages. I especially reccomend this collection of mandala imagery to anyone interested in expanding their consciousness, imagination and creativity! Bravo!
