5.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable, if predictable, thriller., May 22 2000
By Rebecca Herman - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Magic at the Crossroads (Paperback)
Recently orphaned, seventeen-year-old Allison James moves to New Orleans to live with her aunt. She meets twin brothers Jean-Paul and Isnard DuFort, and Michelle, a girl her age who warns her away from them. Meanwhile, Allie's aunt tells her that it is Allie's destiny to be a Voodoo priestess, something Allie is not so sure she wants to be. But she may have little choice - a huge battle between good and evil is coming up, and Allie is caught right in the middle. The one problem I had with this book was that it was somewhat predictable, but it was very enjoyable, and Daniel Parker is a good horror author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome!, Mar 27 2000
By Kitty Ezzell - Published on Amazon.com

I loved this book! I was in the hospital when I read it and my mom had gotten it for me so I didn't know where she got it. When I got out I tryed to look for it but couldn't find it. This book will leave you in suspence! I have tryed so hard to find the other books to this series for about five years now. I have just found one of them. Trust me, if you like books that will leave in in suspence... this is the book for you! Kitty
