The CD/DVD Boombox has a wealth of features that make it the perfect portable entertainment system. The included IR remote allows you to control the unit from afar, just like you would with a regular DVD player. Not only does this unit play CDs and DVDs, it also plays multimedia files directly off your USB drive or SD/SDHC card. Simply plug in your storage device and you can instantly play MP3s, WMA files, JPEG photos, and MPEG4 videos. If you prefer to listen to music from your MP3 player, just plug it into the auxiliary input and your music will play over the boombox's speakers. This system also has a built-in AM/FM tuner so you can listen to all your favorite radio stations. The telescopic radio antenna ensures you will get the clearest possible reception.
Not only does this unit make a great portable system, it can be connected to your TV as well. Simply connect it to your TV using the included RCA audio/video wire, and you'll have a fully functional DVD player. The DVD Boombox carries all the features you'd expect from a regular DVD player. Wonderful versatile machine, can read anything from any source, be it music or video.Portable, very pratical, operates on 12V, which is practical when we go camping with the boat or trailer. I like to listen to movies when I work outside; it's very handy for that purpose. There is no cover on the screen. You have to be careful not to scratch it when packing. I'm gonna buy another one for the cottage!

I ordered this for my daughter's birthday, and I think that she may come to like it, but we have had some trouble trying to get it to recognize her MP3. Obviously we are missing some insight or information as to how to go about "introducing" the boombox to the MP3, but as of yet any connection has been unsuccessful. Help!The DVD compatability is a bonus, but more so than that, using it as a digital picture frame is a novel feature.

Bought this for our grandson and he loves it! Built well and the picture quality is very good as is the sound.Thinking about getting one for ourselves. ShopTronics had it in the mail and delivered to us within the week. It was a pleasure doing business with them!
