Product Description

Ingram

An enchanting young woman leaves her lonely life in Ireland for St. Petersburg, complete with its affluent social circle. Soon a dashing Russian prince, a man to whom many women have succumbed, is out to conquer her as well. She cannot afford to lose her virtue to him, so she will keep her distance--until he makes an offer that a lady in love cannot possibly refuse! A Regency romance original.

3.0 out of 5 stars neither good nor bad, Oct 26 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Magnificent Match (Paperback)
The story is very slow paced and could not captivate me. There is no real "romantic tension", in fact it is almost as if the heroine does not notice the hero while they are still in Russia. The hero follows her into her home country where he starts laying siege to her (that is when the otherwise boring story gets a funny side).
