I ordered this item and was a bit concerned about being shipped from Ontario Canada to Central California. My bowls arrived today in perfect condition. They are very nice looking and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy using them.I was also pleased that most of the packaging is recyclable. The peanuts literally melt in water so they will go into the compost.

The porcelain on the rims of these bowls is rough and I would never eat food that had been in them for fear that the porcelain flakes off into the food.
