The title to the review says it. I'm a big Maisy fan. I insisted on ordering some Maisy videos for our 19 month old daughter (my wife tends to prefer Elmo <g>). Although she now loves Maisy, too... wading through all the ads and junk at the beginning of the video after each rewind is annoying (it is much worse on the Maisy vids than on others, like Sesame Street vids). I'm sure this is the production company, not the artist, and it's a shame. DVD's would be a nice development for this poor mouse, so one can more easily skip this junk.

Maisy loves Christmas, and this video helped introduce Christmas traditions and fun to my 3 year old. Maisy builds a snow mouse. Can you spot the real Maisy? Fun like this will keep any small child asking to see it again. Like all the Maisy products, this is a winner. I recommend buying Maisy's Christmas (book) as a companion.

This tape has quickly become a favorite at our house. My 2 year old has all of the Maisy tapes. This one shows Maisy, Tallulah, Cyril, and Charlie finding & decorating a Christmas tree, sledding, making gingerbread cookies (my personal favorite episode), and Christmas morning activities, along with sharing gifts. I feel this tape provides a starting point for discussing things that go on due to Christmas.
As with all the Maisy tapes, there are small 1-minute segments between the stories. This has one of my favorites about elastic on it, where it shows Maisy dressing with buttons, string, zippers and elastic. (When she snaps her elastic, it makes a funny sound that makes my daughter just giggle!)

This set of songs and stories highlights Maisy and her friends Eddie, TaLuLa, Chuck and Zero in an asosrtment of fun winter settings. This video is loaded with fun for the young and young at heart. Our daughter insists that we acquire all of the Maisy releases and Winter Fun was excellent as usual. The familiar Maisy characters bring short adventures to life in an easy to follow format for even the youngest child. Maisy Mouse is a lovable and engaging character. Lots of positive reinforcement for excellent social skills. Our family recommends Maisy's Winter Fun to every one with young children.
