--Kelly Ripa
"A must read for any woman who wants to awaken her most conscious, irresistible self . . . delivered in a brilliantly funny and accessible way."
--Gay Hendricks, Ph.D., author of Five Wishes and coauthor, with Kathlyn Hendricks, of Conscious Living
Let's make one thing clear: this book is like no other dating book you've read. There are no rules, no list of things to do to land a husband in thirty days, and no reason to blame yourself if “he's just not that into you.” Please. Throw those books away.
Instead, let's focus on you--and how you can make yourself more appealing to others in almost every situation--whether you have a man or not. Think of it as a crash course in desirability, a life-changing lesson in loving yourself inside and out. Once you embrace your unique qualities and dissolve your bad relationship habits, you'll be amazed to find how irresistible you are to others! This girl-friendly guide reveals:

I have to tell you that I was seriously embarrassed to have a book with this title around my office. I am married for starters and even if I wasn't ... what's a book with this title doing in my work environment?! I actually have it flipped upside down on my shelf so the title isn't easy to read!!So here's the thing ... I think she should rework the book a tiny bit and make it more like: How to make every person think you're irresistible Then people will see this book for what it is - yes, a good guide for dating but a GREAT guide for relationships in business and in life. I am going to apply some of the concepts to our real estate investing business as we raise capital for deals and will probably teach our coaching clients some of the ideas in a business application. I may even use the dating analogies as examples because we can all relate to them. My point is whether you are single, married, or whatever, this is worth reading if you want more from relationships - full of practical advice (not tricks or fancy play hard to get kind of crappy advice) that will help you LOVE your life more, develop solid and meaningful relationships in all facets of your life, and probably give you a kick to make whatever relationships you have now, better. She has a great sense of humour, tells it like it is, and gives some really practical advice about what to do about the common traps we all fall into sometimes (bad self talk, men against women battle of the sexes kind of moments, insecure moments). I liked it and am glad I picked it up.

THis is the perfect book for any gal out there who wants to date better men. It's about self confidence (of course) but also about overcoming fears--actually getting out there and getting to it. A great book! I will definitely be recommending this one to friends. Another recommend: Man Magnet: How to Be the Best Woman You Can Be in Order to Get the Best Man.

So I stumbled upon this book while looking for a gift idea for one of my 'single' friends for her big '30' bday. It turned out to be a fun read for us both! The author brings a wonderful sense of humour and manages to bring some very enlightening points forward to show how we, as women, carry and experience ourselves, both when we are single and as part of a couple. You definitely start to see yourself with a sense of humour and eventually realize that's the best way to see things.
