5.0 out of 5 stars hate poetry? try this!, May 12 2009

This review is from: Making Bones Walk (Paperback)
Hate poetry? Hate corny lines that end in rhymes as if Dr. Seuss was still around? Hate long, dry, and confusing poetry that you know is supposed to be "important" but is actually really boring?

This is a book of poetry for real people. Lots of imagery, actual subjects to relate to, not easy to decipher but not mindnumbingly complex either. Boyd is so underrated, he's just amazing. Succinct.

You'll finish and wish the book was longer. And you are likely to spend time after reading these remembering lines and perceiving more details as time passes. Don't read these all at once: take one and savor.
