This review is from: Making the Cut: The 30-Day Diet and Fitness Plan for the Strongest, Sexiest You (Paperback)
Making the cut looks to be thorough and well written. However, as a vegetarian, meal plans are useless to me. While explanations for the benefits of exercise, etc are good, they seem to be a bit basic for the audience (an already fit target market, who has already been doing consistent exercise - those who are not in decent shape will not be able to complete exercises properly).Oh the plus side, exercise circuits were well done ->although more detailed exercise explanations would be useful (i.e. a picture for frog pushups) circuits provide a good mix of cardio and weight training. I regularily do Billy Blanks boot camp and found circuits to still have some challenges. In any case, I hope to see results after completion of the 30 day plan speak for themselves!

I am a big fan of the biggest loser and love Jillan! I have the workout dvd and decided to see what this book could do for me too. It's great, though it is a bit intense. But, hey, if you're going to get results in 30 days, you have to be intense. I definitely recommend it, along withFatass No More! How I Lost Weight and Still Ate Cheeseburgers and Fries

Yes, the book is very well written and I am a big fan of Jillian with her take charge attitude. Unfortunately, this book was a big waste of my money. I live in a smaller town where most of the specialty items required for Jillian's meal plans cannot be found. I mean swordfish isn't going to be found in my little supermarket. Oh, and did I mention I am allergic to fish! If you are living in a metropolitan area where you have access to these kinds of ingrediants, and can stomach them not to mention, then I say yes, this book is for you. If not, I'd look elsewhere and save your money.
