Cutting smaller trim on it is alot more comfortable as well compared to the 12". This saw has plenty of power, nice brake system and is actually nice to have side by side on the job with the other saws so you don't need to keep changing one saws angle all the time. It's just plain convenient to own!
Absolutely perfect. Perfectly square in all directions right out of the box.
No blade flex/wobble whatsoever
Intuitive adjustments for all features
Solid feel, VERY well engineered and well made.
LIGHT, only 28 lbs.
near-instant spin-up,tons of power for its size
Buy 7-1/4" Blades and save a TON of money.
The ONLY thing I wish it had was dual bevel... but even with that wish, I still can't find a reason to give it anything less than five stars. Great saw - do yourself a favor - stop waffling like I was, and just buy it. The five star ratings on here are dead-on.
Kudos to Makita for building a great trim saw.
