Malarkey

Malarkey is a new student in Brook High. He is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
On the first day of school, some gang members from the Tailors stole Malarkey¡¯s backpack. And when Malarkey found it inside a classroom, he had been accused of stealing Mr. Macallan¡¯s video club membership card and his driving license. There was no way Mr. Macallan could have believed Malarkey¡¯s story. After been brought to the office to wait for the principal, someone banged hard at the window. Malarkey opened the window for Dominic Dom-one of the gang members, and he ran to the principal¡¯s desk, grabbed the grade 11 report cards and ran out from the window. Malarkey had one day to proof his innocence or he will be dealing with a lot of trouble.
I think the beginning of the book was very well written. I couldn¡¯t put the book down starting from the second page when Malarkey lost his backpack. It was kind of funny because Malarkey was staring at a girl too hard he wasn¡¯t aware of what¡¯s going on. The Tailors are very smart. In order to get the report cards, they start off with a pretty girl, then moving towards their goal. The Tailors were also very smart at picking the person. They picked Malarkey because he was weak, he was a new student, and he has no friends.
Malarkey found out more about the Tailors. He knew the leader of the gang is Freddie Cloth. He knew the gang members were Adidas Trainers. He knew there was this homework club ran by the Tailors-this is not what you think, they have people come to the homework club, pay them, and get an excellent grade. One of the victims was Simon, he had to do all the works the Tailors give him or else his little sister gets it. Malarkey thought of an excellent plan to destroy the Tailors and save Simon.
I liked how Malarkey didn¡¯t cry like a baby and tried his best even though there weren¡¯t much chance. He had the courage to fight back, even when he have no friends.
I would recommend this book to everyone, but because of the fact that it contains coarse language, it is only suitable for teenagers.
Keith Gray wrote excellent fiction books. Some of it is ¡°Warehouse¡±, ¡°The Fearful¡± and ¡°Happy¡±. Keith Gray¡¯s books have been translated into several languages, including Japanese, Polish, and German. His favorite authors include Robert Louis Stevenson, Raymond Chandler and Stephen King. Malarkey is an excellent book for teenagers. Once you start reading it, you can¡¯t stop until the end.
