The frame looks great, and if I didn't have an image I knew to be pure white inside it, or had a B&W image, the mat would probably be perfect. However, it does have a gray tinge to it, not a pure pure white.

I created a pencil drawing per request from a friend, and felt like it needed a better presentation than giving him the paper alone. This frame was the perfect size, and the matting really helps the drawing stand out. It's a wall-hang only frame, the backing does not have a stand for table usage (which is fine for me, just want to be sure that buyers are aware.)The packaging for mine was very protective, it had plenty of bubble wrap and nothing was chipped or broken. I'd definitely buy this again for future artwork!
