5.0 out of 5 stars The Man, the Moon and the Marriage vow, Jun 7 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Man, the Moon and the Marriage Vow (Paperback)
Evie Jones is one of The Jones Gang! She is Oggie's niece. She moved to North Magdelene last year and loves it. She meets Erik Riggins and falls in love and marries him. Erik is a widower with 3 children that Evie makes a home with. Evie has been exploded by her father, Gideon, because of her special gift -- telepathy. She is afraid to tell Erik of this gift and this leads to trouble. I don't know if Ms Rimmer has any other books that deal with telepathy but it was good and I enjoyed it.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK Book by Great Author, Aug 8 2011
By Terracotta Dove - Published on Amazon.com
Rimmer is one of my favorites, but this is an earlier book and not as good as usual.

It starts out OK, with an introduction to the female lead and her special powers that captures your interest. The hero remains in the background for awhile, and then initially, he is just an angry and prideful guy that couldn't hold my attention. But the real issues started with their romance. I found both of these people a little tiresome, and coupling them just doubled that. I think the villain and his actions were the most engrossing part of the story, which is always a bad sign in a romance.

I am thankful that all of Rimmer's back list is becoming available on Kindle, and I will certainly keep buying this author.
