5.0 out of 5 stars A survey of Italy's traditional recipes, April 16 2003
This review is from: Mangia Bene: Traditional Recipes of Italy (Paperback)
This survey of Italy's traditional recipes packs in hundreds of traditional Italian recipes collected from both north and south, reflecting Pasqualina Rio Gregory's personal travels through the country as well as her family heritage. Her favorites comprising Mangia Bene represent the range of Italian dishes, with over sixty color photos of Italy capturing the Italian countryside. It's not the photos which are the standout here, though: it's the recipes, which blend both old styles with new creations speciifc to different regions.
