5.0 out of 5 stars Memories of a Time Long Ago, Jan 18 2008

This review is from: Manhattan's Chinatown (Paperback)
I just received this book and immediately read it from cover to cover. It is a wonderful, extensive, and well-presented collection of ephemera, post cards, photos, drawings, etc., from Manhattan's Chinatown (NYC) of long ago. What a perfect way for this generation to look back and get some insight into the way their ancestors lived and how their community looked. So much of our past gets lost from generation to generation, but now Chinatown's has come alive, and will remain so, in the pages of this book. Kudos to the authors. (Gail S.)
