Good book...well written with illustrations and examples of manly comportment. References to men of our past to emulate. This will offend certain "guys", particularily men who dance and sing while wearing lavander colors and/or eating designer pastries! Readers of this book often stockpile guns and ammo, just in case!

I read this book in the mid-80's, and it changed my life. Gave a copy to a friend of mine what was in the hospital for lung surgery, and a coupla weeks later got a thank-you card. Said that without reading The Manly Handbook, he never would have had the courage to have the surgery without anesthesia.This book should be a must-read for every male in America - before it's too late. There aren't many manly men around these days, and I think there's a direct correlation to the fact that the book has been out of print for a few years.

This is a humorous look at life from a testosterone-laden point of view. A turbocharged "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche". Includes several tests to check your own manliness and that of your friends. Includes appropriate tribute to John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and the United States Armed Forces.
