Ok the spell worked, but marginally, and it was a big one. I was instructed to do a spell out of a book, for once! ( I write my own). Her work does not rhyme. This may not be a problem if you work mostly with the elementals, but it is a problem if you work with the deities. My recommendation is to take her rituals and make them rhyme. Still love the book. I am trained in high ceremonial magic and it was easy to adapt it and rachet the correspondences way up with the astrology already done.
ALthough, his is a somewhat harsh review I still like the book, it just put things into perpective for me that I am not yet at a level to digest the material in this book, and I would have to do a lot of secondary research. I really wish she would put her personal exprences in the book as well as in waht she exprenced when she did something in her books, when she cast this spell how it was for her. If your looking for a spell book that can engage you more during your esbats and other rituals related to the moon then this book is for you. It has a updated table of association list as well. This really is a book that will allow you to attempt to take control over your life. I don't think this book would be used in a group setting but maybe could be adapted to be so.
I'm taking to long :
Basicly this is a book thats the first of it's kind and you can learn a lot about astrology and the stars in the sky, but it's again another book full of rituals lacking the depth of an author's personal exprence.
