5.0 out of 5 stars great military romance!, Mar 21 2003

This review is from: Marching Orders (Mass Market Paperback)
Rafe McQuade is a Combat Rescue Officer in the Air Force. He is diagnosed with Anterograde amnesia and has lost all memory of the past year of his life. He does not remember rescuing Anna Caldwell in Monte de Leon, or making love to her and asking her to marry him. Two months later Anna's life is in danger from the captors that had erased his memory. However, he marries her by direct order of his commanding officer but when Anna catches Rafe in a lie she demands to know what has happened to the man she had fell in love with. Now, Rafe is a man on a mission, to protect the lives of his wife and unborn child.

This is a great book! The hero is fantastically enhanced by the military career he is devoted to, and by the love for a woman even amnesia can not take away. Rafe McQuade is handsome and strong, yet gentle to his woman. MARCHING ORDERS is an intriguing military romance tale!

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT A WAY TO START - MEN ON A MISSION, Feb 19 2006
By M. Hartmann "abayyan" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Marching Orders (Mass Market Paperback)
Action - Intrigue - Mystery - Danger!
Something happened to Rafe McQuade in the two months when Anna Caldwell has not seen him.
Covert Operation? Colonel Ethan Shaw, a long time friend of Anna's has manuevered Anna and Rafe's wedding only to have a shoot-out wreck their reception.

Now they must go into hiding. Anna wants to know what is going on as she felt a difference in Rafe when they kissed. Something is wrong.

Once again their hide-away has been violated. Someone must be tracking them. Nicholas Sheldon is a security specialist and Special Agent, Luke Buchanan from the Justice Department are part of the six man Alpha Team.

Rafe doesn't know who to trust. And the shocker was when Anna told him she was pregnant. Now he must protect Anna and his unborn child from Quivira and O'Reilly because someone wants him and Anna dead. He contacts the only person that he trusts, Captain Cal Rico.
Even that contact turns out not to be safe.
Though they were on the run in the Texas Hill country with bullets flying everywhere, the hormones still kick in to stir up the situation.

Believe me - in this story "safe" is not safe.

Great story - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - well worth being a keeper.
