Welcome to the family!
Now this something everyone likes to hear, but for Dae-suh, it means the end to his prefect life. He has the perfect pedigree, the perfect resume, the perfect girlfriend, the perfect life. But one morning, Dae-suh wakes up next to a beautiful, perfect stranger, Jin-kyung. They are both perfectly confused and have absolutely no idea how they ended up in bed together (the very end of the movie reveals how).

Dae-suh is struggling to do the right thing, or shall we say, he is being "forced" to do the right thing. You see, Jin-kyung, her three brothers and her father are not your average, respectable Korean household -- they just happen to be one of the most powerful mob families in the country. Her father had always wanted to bring (in a legitimate way) prestige and honor to the family -- and well, Dae-suh is the ticket.
All Jin-kyung's brothers have to do, is have these two perfect strangers fall in love.

This film, while woefully under appriciated at the festival I saw it at, by far deserved a best screen play award. It's lively and funny dialoge is boosted by the outrageously funny characters and situations plus one of the most perfect endings to this kind of comedy I've seen in a long time.

Some strong language and bloody violence make this otherwise sweet hearted romantic comedy more for the adult crowd.

Dont expect too much in terms of redeeming diadatic value here, this film is simply for fun and a lot of fun it is.

Really magic, as is another famous Korean film, ('I'm a Cyborg, and That's OK').

The magic is this: On first viewing, the movie(s) seem silly, stupid, or weird, and definitely disjointed.
It's very hard to understand what's going on, and scenes that might explain things seem to be missing. But these tricky Koreans always have a twist of some kind at or near the end, that gives the answer to a puzzle you didn't even know was there.

Then---you have to watch them a second time to understand it all, and to see that---they aren't really silly or stupid or weird or disjointed at all, and, in fact are more cohesive than a lot of other-nation movies. AND-this turns out to be a cute movie.

Recommend, recommend, recommend.

One of the cutest and well acted movies. She is a crime family princess, he is high pedigreed IT consultant. They couldn't be further apart and yet they were meant for each other. The movie at first is a bit odd, how did this happen, etc. but at the end it is all tied up beautifully and you can't help but adore all the actors, even the goofy brothers. I have watched this many times and never fail to laugh. This one should be in everyone's library who loves a good movie.
