Where's the beef?,
This review is from: Marvel Heroes: Special Edition Box Set (3-Disc DVD) (DVD)
You'd think that they actually give you a fair amount of the original shorts from the 60's in this package, but its severely lacking on Cap, Thor and the Hulk. Its mostly filler using the 60's Spiderman episodes (which I love, but already have them on DVD).If you really want the classic shorts, don't buy this item, you'll be disappointed.

This review is from: Marvel Heroes: Special Edition Box Set (3-Disc DVD) (DVD)
So far I have only viewed the Thor DVD.When I first watched it, I couldn't stop laughing. It had all the corny "bam", "whoosh", "pow" shots, still scenes with dialogue to convey the storyline, no backgounds, action scenes used over and over, and very lumpy dialogue delivered in what sounded like really horrible Shakespeare. If you have kids, they probably won't like it. The DVD cannot compete with todays graphics and sound effects. So why four stars? Because if you remember watching these cartoons, remember being a kid and waiting for Saturdays and the next "thrilling" episode, you can understand why I started this review with the first time I watched it........the second time round captured the magic of Saturday mornings when I was a kid, sitting around the TV watching good vanquish evil, love conquer all, and the start of my love of cartoons.
