"An imposing compendium of all facts Marxian. It's a tribute to the density of the bros.' work that there's so much to be found in this volume." - Blogcritics

"Being that the Marx style of comedy is timeless, many generations to come will benefit greatly from such a detailed source of information on the team." - The Daily Rotation

"An incredible compendium of facts." - Flixist

"Densely packed with information about anything you could ever ask about the Brothers." - The Retroist

"Truly a vastly informative tome, this is a must for Marx fans and any lover of vintage comedy performers and their lasting contributions to show business." - Cool Ass Cinema --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Book Description

From their abandoned projects to how the brothers dealt with potential competitors, such as Buster Keaton, a wealth of information on lives and careers of all the brothers is organized in this A-to-Z reference. Glenn Mitchell's latest findings are included as he continues to research the unique careers of Chico, Harpo, Groucho, Zeppo, Gummo—and Manfred. Vaudeville, Broadway, and the classic films, including Cocoanuts, Duck Soup, and A Night at the Opera, are all covered in engrossing detail, as are the brothers' subsequent careers in solo films, on stage, and in radio and television.

By Lee E. Blasingame - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
this is an all things you have ever herd of the Marx Brothers and in one binding. it is almost too full of entries. a lot of pictures and more information than you can use. i have it but i have not looked or read much up in it because it is too big. there are more fun ways to learn all about the Marx Bros.
