A real page turner, Dec 28 1999

MASQUERADE is without a doubt the sexiest, most romantic, most amusing romance anthology I've read in years. What could be more fun and colorful than Venice during the Carnival? I was familiar with the work of only one of the authors -- the fabulous Katherine Deauxville -- when I bought this collection, but you may be sure I'll keep an eye out for books by all of these talented ladies in the future.

Seductive!, Feb 4 2000

Masquerade is an excellent anthology, set during Carnival in Venice and chock full of lush historical details, seductive sensuality and top quality writing. Sharon Pisacreta's "Queen of the Night" pairs the determined Isabella with a romantic Romeo Cortez; this story was the most touching. All 4 stories were truly enjoyable.

LOVED THIS BOOK, July 2 2005

I usually do not like anthologies. This one was great because it was based on 4 friends with one story line. The story was centered on the Carnival in Venice. Each author picked up from the last and it was a seamless flow from one character story to the other. I purchased this book because Katherine Deauxville was one of the authors. When I got it, I enjoyed all the authors.I loved the story line and the flow of the book because it stuck to a set time period and each author added to one story. This made this book truly fun and you did not feel like things were missing. You know the feeling when a story just ends without a resolution and leaves you just hanging there. This book was, simply, fun to read!
