Keys are small and flimsy One was bent the first couple of times I used it. The lock mechanism is the weak spot. Looks good. Works well to lock and but poorly to unlock. You don't want to be in a hurry.

I originally purchased this Python braided cable lock to secure a game camera to a tree, it did the job well. It was easy to position, the cable braid fit through the game camera's OEM brackets and nobody was able to steal the camera for the three months it was in the oak tree (not that anyone tried). It's supple and strong, with no slip.
After I retreived the cable lock from the woods, you couldn't tell it had set in the elements for three months. Unfortunately I took it home. Then..my wife got ahold of the lock and requisitioned it for baby stroller security. So now, it locks a double-wide Bumbleride stroller to lamp-posts and railings around town, at amusement parks, and at the malls. Luckily it's full camo, so it blends in perfectly with the bright red stroller...not. But it sure works well for that job too.

Works great for securing trail cameras to trees. If you pull the cable tight when you lock it, you need to pull like you are trying to tighten it some more when you are unlocking it. A tight cable is hard to unlock unless you relieve the tension in the locking mechanism by pulling the loose end of the cable sticking out the nose of the python's head.

I love this lock! I wouldnt use it to secure a nuclear facility or anything, but it is great for a game camera or hunting stand! If someone wants to steal something in the middle of the woods, no lock is able to stop them. I could break this lock if I needed to. It makes the lazy thieves think twice. The cable was to thick for my Bushnell Trophy Cam, so I used it to lock my lock-on hunting stand. Buy 10 of these things because you will use them!!
