Entertaining from start to finish,
This review is from: Master of the Moon (Mass Market Paperback)
The second book in Angela Knights Mageverse series, this is a real page turner. The characters are strong and vibrant. I couldn't put it down. The sex is steamy, the guy dreamy and the woman strong-willed and able to take care of herself. The bad guys have the upper-hand for a while but it doesn't take long for good to prevail. My favourite type of ending. The synopsis from the back of the book says, "Diana London works hard in her day job as the city manager of a small South Carolina town. Yet she still finds time to moonlight for the Verdaville Police Department. As a werewolf. But while helping the police investigate a brutal murder, Diana discovers she's not the only magical creature in town. A female vampire has also decided to make Verdaville her murderous playground. What's worse, she has powers even Diana can't match. Fortunatley, Diana is not the only one determined to stop her. Llyr Galatyn is the king of the Cachamwri Sidhe - a seductive otherworldly warrior with fantastic ailities. He's sworn to hunt down the murderer, and he's more that willing to give Diana any help she needs. And not just with the case. Diana is in her Burning Moon, a time of sexual heat, when need rides her hard. Llyr is delighted to be the answer to her erotic prayers. But as they hunt the vampire while desire runs hot between them, a deadly enemy urges the killer to turn her sights on Llyr. It seems Llyr isn't the only king of the Sidhe - and his brother wants him dead." I can't wait to read the next book.

another sizzling tale from red-hot writer Knight,
By Deborah MacGillivray "Author," - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Master of the Moon (Mass Market Paperback)
Angela Knight has one original series going - witches, vampires and the children of Camelot. Though Master of the Moon is a stand alone title, you really will enjoy this even more if you have read Hot Blooded (a novella entitled "Seduction's Gift" kicks the series off), followed by Master of the Night. Knight has a very original, inventive tale. She takes old lore of Witches, Vampires, Faeries, Werewolves and mixes in Merlin, Arthur and the Gang, and creates something very fresh. It's hard to recall, it's only been a year since she made her mainstream book debut with Jane's Warlord!! Already, she is a force in red-hot romance! Her tales are strongly written, well-conceived and she boldly goes where no writers have gone before, and does it with such panache! In this tale, you will meet characters you have touched upon in Master of the Night. You will already know about Llyr, the King of the Faeries. Llyr and his very evil brother. Llyr riles one branch of the Fae - the Cachamwri. His Nasty brother Ansgar rules the Morven Fae. The brothers were cursed by daddy dearest on his death bed with a wish they cannot kill the other. Well, being a nasty sort, Ansgar has gotten around this by killing the wives and children of Llyr. In this battle to save the Fae, Llyr is seeking an alliance with the Camelot vampires and witches. Meanwhile back in the "normal" (lol) earth in present day, you meet Diana London. She is a police officer in Verdaville, South Carolina. Only, she is not too normal either. She is a shapeshifter - a werewolf. Diana is of the Dire Kind, a magical race conjured by Merlin as sort of a "police" to keep the vampires and faeries in line. This makes her a great asset to Llyr in his struggle to save everyone from Ansgar's evil intent. Heads up, Angela Knight pushes the limited of everyday romance over into the romance-erotica blend called romantica. So if you don't like blistering hot sex, and lots of it, then you and great aunt Tilly should give this one a pass. Sorry, Ms. Knight makes no apologies. If you don't like this sort of level of intensity, then go find a kinder, gentler romance writer. Hey, there is room for all tastes in the Romance Market. However, if you like your romance on the red-hot fiery side, but really want something more than erotica, you want a full-bodied tell that is fascinating, riveting, and so very original, then get all three Hot Blooded, Master of the Night and Master of the Moon. If you have read the first two works, then you won't want to miss this next in the series. Knight is a one-woman force. Powerful writing leaving you singed and waiting for "Masters". 51 of 56 people found the following review helpful

Fantastic story in an exceptional series,
By Sheri Fogarty - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Master of the Moon (Mass Market Paperback)
Diana London is a City Manager and part-time policewoman in a small southern town. She's also a shape-shifter (a werewolf). She uses her enhanced abilities to help keep her town safe, although she keeps her nature a secret.Lyr is King of the faeries and has been visiting Diana in her dreams. He's had his own battle going, fighting to keep his people safe from his evil brother Ansgar. When rogue vampires start attacking citizens of Diana's town, Lyr is sent to help. The trouble from the vamps as well as the sparks between Lyr and Diana fly. This is another exceptional story from Angela Knight. The story continues from Master of the Moon, although if you haven't <yet;> read that, this works as a stand-alone book too. Diana is a wonderful strong heroine and Lyr is a strong, sexy, wonderful hero. Highly recommended! There is nothing like an Angela Knight story to keep you up reading until late in the night. 14 of 14 people found the following review helpful
