I really liked this book, but I personnaly don't think it's for beginners.

As an example, I know a lot about DW (I am an Adobe Certified Expert) and read a lot of books about CSS (how to code it manually, not with a tool like DW), but I still found some parts hard to follow.

That said, Stephanie Sullivan is a well-known expert and does a good job as holding your hands in an advanced topic.

The book itself state that you must already know a little bit about DW and CSS... and hopes that if you are an expert in one of those field, that it will help you with the other weaker field...

Hello,

I just couldn't resist to comment on this book (Mastering CSS with Dreamwevar CS3). That's how books should be written. From 1 to 5 stars, I give it a 12 star rating.

My knowledge before I purchased this book was based on two beginner courses. One in Dreamweaver CS3 and another in XHTML. Then I purchased this book. AMAZING!!!!
*** I believe you will have difficulties following along the lessons with no prior knowledge of Dreamweaver CS3 and XHTML.

MY RECOMMENDATION: Pages 6 - 19 SHOULD BE 100% MEMORIZED AND FULLY UNDERSTOOD before you continue with the lessons. Do NOT read more than 2-4 pages at a time and absorb all the materials well before you continue.
