This book explores the origins of four of the "staple" characters that are Skeletor's original minions: Beast-Man, Mer-Man, Trap-Jaw, & Tri-Klops. The artwork is exceptional, but the storyline and depth was a little less than I'd hoped for. The story of Beast-Man's origin is very well done and even showcases Skeletor as his original self: Keldor. The origin of Trap-Jaw is the real reason to buy this book. That story explains of how Kronis went from ambitious, evil tyrant to his current transformation. The illustrations for that story are top-notch. A diehard MOTU fan needs to have this book in their collection. Recommended!
