I can listen to this over and over for days with a great big smile in my face. All the songs are great. Everyday im humming the songs in my head. I think this suondtrack made the movie what it is today

This is one of my favorite cds! I buy cds all of the time and a good cd to me had repeat listenability. This means that I could listen to the cd over and over again without getting bored. I bought this cd when it first was released (I LOVED THE MOVIE!) and the music has such a great beat! I think the selection of artists on this cd is incredible! If you want something that you can listen to time and time again, I recommend this cd.

An awesome movie deserves an awesome soundtrack, and The Matrix is no different. Even though I don't like Marilyn Manson, I grudgingly listened to "Rock Is Dead" and actually kinda liked it. However, any group could have done it and this song would have rocked. I like Rob Zombie, and he really has a knack for putting good songs on excellent soundtracks. Rage Against the Machine takes the title for the best song on the CD. "Wake Up" is a not only a well written song with great lyrics, but also a good party jam. Deftone's "My Own Summer" is a very spooky, haunting tune that fits well into the movie. Also give Propellerheads, Rob D., and Lunatic Calm a listen. Buy this CD. It's worth the money.
