Had a hard time finding -RW disks to use in my DVD PVR, newer disks didn't work but these slower speed disks are just what was needed. Been recording with them for a couple months now without any issues.

Maxwell Rewritable discs March 13 2009

These rewritable discs are fantastic for recording television shows and movies. Before I bought these, I had discs that you could not re-use and had to be thrown out after being used only one time. Now, I record programs over and over again - defintely worth the ptrice.

We do a LOT of recording of TV shows. My husband has been using these for months. Very happy. He has 3 dvd recorders. Had problems in the past with a lot of discs of different brand - unusuable or rejected. Very very happy with these.

I have been recording and erasing these for about 2 months now and they don't dissappoint. I have been using them with my Toshiba DVR660 DVD/VCR and my LG GH22LP20 DVD Writer. They work every time.

Solid and Dependable Feb. 24 2010

I've been using these little gems for burning movies from a Tivo in a Toshiba 570 DVD recorder with excellent results. There have been no write error messages and I have not seen any instances of drop-outs for either video or audio. Movies which were saved at best quality then recorded at best quality seem to be identical. The only difference I have noted is some degradation of signal when recording in SP mode or slower but I believe that is more a function of the lower quality of recording at the slower speeds, not the fault of the media. I have experienced similar signal loss when using other brands of media when recorded at SP or slower.

To date, I have not had any issues or quality drop-off when re-writing over an already used disc. I doubt I'll ever re-write enough to find the acual limitations which most manufacturers claim to be up to 1000 times.

I can confidently recommend these Maxell media.

I can write and rewrite ,,, May 12 2009
By Matthew J. Molina Jr. - Published on Amazon.com

I record on average about 10 hours a week ,,, while using these RW discs.

And while I have not measured exactly or compared with other manufacturers ,,, each disc does last months of rewriting ,,, most done at LP speed.

I am happy and have no complaints using and reusing ,,, writing and rewriting.
