5.0 out of 5 stars If your child likes The Lion King. . . Oct. 16 2012

. . .they will probably love this. It's a great length for either bedtime or the morning. My impression was of a "grass is always greener" or "don't take what you have for granted," moral built in alongside the dominant "What will _you_ be when you grow up?" implication, which I think is excellent for children between the ages of 3 and maybe 10.

This is a cute story that looks into what kind of things Maxwell might want to do when he grows up. It was fun to discuss the different options and listen to what the kids had to say about what they might like to be when they grow up!

4.0 out of 5 stars Charming Jan. 28 2013

Maxwell doesn't like his parents telling him that he's going to be the king, so he tries out several things, and realizes that mom and dad are right! A king can get all those things done better, and that's the best thing he can do. A cute book, well written, with engaging illustrations.

5.0 out of 5 stars As an elephant lover, this book brought happiness! Jan. 14 2013

My daughter has absolutely loved elephants since she was 2 years old and receive her first Webkinz elephant as a gift. This book brought many smiles and lots of happiness as I read it too her, and she viewed the adorable pictures on the screen. It is also a very cute story that walks through a lesson of learning how to accept who you were meant to be.
