2.0 out of 5 stars Irony of the book, Jan 24 2011

The book tries to teach the importance of brevity of writing in business and getting your point across. It does so in 242 pages that could have been summarized in a 4 page handout. A little unnecessary if you ask me.

1.0 out of 5 stars pass on this book, Mar 14 2011
By MJK - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The McGraw-Hill 36-Hour Course in Business Writing and Communication, Second Edition (Paperback)
This book was a big disappointment. Way too many drawn out author experiences, material of 25 pages that could be condensed into 2-3 pages, added nothing new in the way of business writing. So, pass on this book and use the money for Handbook for Writing Proposals by R. Hamper -- you will like that one much better.
