this film has something for everyone,in my opinion.there's
comedy,action,excitement.the movie is also inspirational and uplifting,but without being overbearing.there are also some references to other popular movies.i also thought all the characters were likable,even the bad guy,who isn't really bad.he's more misunderstood and harmless.he's also fairly inept as a villain,in a funny way.his plans are basically a comedy of errors.there's a time travel plot at the core of the movie.and there a few unexpected twists as well.there's a good moral to the movie,which i didn't feel was preachy at all,a refreshing quality for this type of movie.and finally,i liked the music a lot.there are some great songs here,something i find lacking in many movies.for me,Meet The Robinsons is a 3.75/5

"Meet the Robinsons", directed by Stephen Anderson, is an excellent film for kids, and also for the kind of adults that love good animated movies. I am one of them :)
The main character is Lewis, a 12-year old orphan that is a science whiz. Lewis' biggest dream is to have a family of his own, but he hasn't been able to get adopted. When, after a particularly stinging rejection from a prospective family due to an experiment gone wrong, Lewis fails miserably at a science fair, his confidence is crushed and he ready to give up on science. Life has many surprises in store for him, though, among them a trip to the future and tons of new friends, that will teach him that, in order to achieve success, all you really need to do is keep moving forward. On the whole, I can say that I really liked this quirky and engaging Disney movie. It is a family film with a very good message, that also happens to be lots of fun. Recommended... Belen Alcat

Un très bon film d'animation pour toute la famille, rempli d'humour, de rebondissements et qui ne vous laissera pas une seconde de répit tellement l'action est continu... et comme tout bon film de Disney la morale de l'histoire est présente et c'est même très bien fait, n'oublie jamais d'aller de l'avant car seul ceux qui continu d'y croire pourront un jour atteindre leurs objectifs...
Pour ma part j'ai bien aimé le fameux méchant qui bien que plutôt stupide n'a pas son pareil pour nous faire rire... ou est-ce par ce qu'il est si écervelé qu'il nous fait rire... ? Sans compte le dino, le super chapeau aux ambitions plutôt effrontés (sic) qui ira jusqu'à en perdre la tête (re-sic !) bref la plupart des personnages son non seulement unique mais très caractéristique disons le... c'est ce qui rend ce genre de film toujours si intéressant ! Nous avons bien aimé mon fils et moi, un bon film simple et très bien fait, le seule regret c'est que les bonus sur le dvd ne soit pas plus intéressant que cela mais bon on ne peut pas demander à Disney d'être aussi fort que Pixar...
