Amazon.ca Product Description

Catch some air with Flynn’s Rescue Ship from Mega Bloks Skylanders SWAP Force. When the forces of KAOS are coming from all directions, Hot Head–with cool light-up powers–zooms through the air, providing cover to his friends on deck. Flynn jumps into action, any damage done by the Greebles. He can fire the real, working launchers or operate the crane. When the battle gets tough, Magna Charge rolls in to take on a whole sea of baddies. The battle for the Skylands has never been more fun. Ideal for kids 5 and up.

Initially I gave it one star because The bags are not marked ,there is hundreds of pieces and u will not know from where to start even the instruction is very poor the pieces colors in the instruction is deferent from what is the box so even if u decide to go by the color u can't. Iam so disappointed my son refusing to return it and he can't enjoy it. Now after few days im updating my review I will give it another star after putting it together it is nice and good material but I have back pain now u really need to set hours for few days to finish it. It is impossible for kids to do it and don't buy it unless it is 30 dollars. Dose not worth more

Nice big set Feb. 3 2014

Nice large set of Mega Bloks. When built, the set has lots of play ability. It was much too difficult for my 6.5 yr old to build on his own.

Ship-shape! March 1 2014

A few large pieces make this build very manageable for it's brick count. I thought the play-set style of this ship looked cool in the pictures but I had no idea I'd almost always utilize this awesome function. I also really like the fact that there is plenty of room below deck for customization!
Nice kit but not the sturdiest set we've made Sept. 1 2014
By John S. Dean - Published on Amazon.com
We picked this up at a local brick and mortar when we happened to see it while looking for a Mega Bloks Halo set that was just released. So it was a spur of the moment purchase, since we've done most of the Halo and Skylander sets.

My 10 year old loves building things, and overall we're always very happy with Mega Bloks. People always say "Get Lego sets they're better," but I've not found that to be the case. Most people seem to like Legos because they're organized in bags that are numbered so you can do things in steps with fewer pieces to sort through.

But honestly, I like getting the bigger Mega Blok sets because we get all the pieces out and we sort things around the build area, so we know exactly where everything is at. I think this is actually a very good practice for my 10 year old, teaching him how to organize and plan things even for toys. So the lack of numbered bags has never bothered me. And the few times I've had a piece missing, it's a simple webpage to get one shipped to you for free.

This kit, though, just wasn't as well designed as what we're used to. It's not often I give a 3 star to any Mega Blok set, but this was one of those times. Some things just aren't sturdy, and cause issues with both the building and the playing.

The "oars" on the front sides, for example. Well, on another Flynn's ship he has, a toy, they're oars. On this, they appear more like wings or ailerons or something. But regardless, the clamps for them are horrible, and they won't stay up, they always fall straight down. So if you're building it, we had to leave those off for last since every time we'd pick up the ship to put a part on, they'd be pointing down below the level of the hull, so you'd have to do a little back and forth shimmy with it to get them "out" again as you set it down. And of course the same problem comes when you're playing.

The crane wheel is awfully tight, and tends to pull the crane out of it's secured position at times.

Surprisingly, though, the hull itself is pretty well done, and there's no real flimsiness there even with the hinge and the one point that secures it shut and holds it when you're not playing with it open. It's surprisingly sturdy.

The wheels for the dock "bumper" aren't secured at all, and fall off easily. Granted, it's nice that they used little rubber wheels for that, but I would've preferred something plastic that snapped and held it's place, rather than finding them around the house randomly after he's played.

All told it's a good addition to any collection, but it's really not the greatest for play unless you're leaving it stationary on the floor.
great fun but lots assembly could be a turn off July 14 2014
By Jennifer Mathesz - Published on Amazon.com
Lets start with there is no way a 5 year old is building it. Even 7 and 8 year olds r gonna have trouble. Once built, a 5 year old will have lots of fun. It took me a good 3 hours to assemble and its a nice set. Lots of things to do and pretend with.
That being said, the reason it takes so long is because the bags of pieces are in no order and all mixed together. One step can have pieces from four different bags. The instructions are clear it just takes a long time to find each piece. As u go along it gets quicker cause u know which pieces r where and the less u have the easier they r to find. Overall im pleased with the purchase but i also git it at a steep discount at a local store

The toy was neat, but it took over 5 hours to build. Once built, it looked cool, but its real to capabilities were limited.
