About the Author
Simma Holt was a Member of Parliament in the Trudeau government, and has been a Member of the National Parole Board. She is a journalist, best-selling author, lecturer, and social activist. She was also a researcher and political adviser on Canada-US relations for the key operative, Doug Wead, in the outreach to Americas religious constituency for the then Vice President George W. H. Bush for President (1987-88). In 1996 she received the Order of Canada and was inducted in the Canadian News Hall of Fame. She currently resides in Vancouver.
