Great little CD player for my 7 year old daugther. Sound quality is good compared similar priced units. So far quality seems good as well.

This box works great Sept. 2 2011

I bought this item because I have had a couple of small boom boxes that I've tried to play MP3 CDs on and they burn out. You can play normal CDs forever, but after a few weeks to a few months of playing MP3 CDs with 100+ tracks, the motors start to burn out.

I have been playing large MP3 CDs for months on this box and it works great!

Not as it seems June 19 2011

The so called "digital" tuner is mearly an analog tuner with a digital readout. You cannot preset stations and the digital readout is not accurate. Not what I wanted or what I need.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Feb. 10 2011

Received today & it's going back tomorrow. Cheaply made. Power chord to the back of the unit doesn't fit right & won't stay in place. Tried 3 cds (all were clean & 1 was even brand new)& CD player would not funtion properly...it would play for a few seconds, then shut down, or pause, etc. I was SO disappointed as this was a gift for my son. For the brief time I did hear it play it sounded great. Unfortunately, it's not well made.

Memorex Sport CD/MP3 Boombox June 26 2011
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
When I first purchased this product I was pleased, but it only worked for a few months then it would no longer play CD's. I returned it and was given another (same model) which also worked for only a few months and it too will no longer play CD's. Very poor product. I don't wish to add to the landfill problem but this product belongs there. I will not be in the market for another Memorex product in the near future.

2 of them stopped working after just a few months April 5 2014
By tilyra - Published on Amazon.com
I bought 4 of these units for music teachers to use at the business I manage. Two of the units completely stopped working completely. We tried the CD's in a third unit, which did work. So there is clearly something wrong with the units after just a few months from when they were purchased. I realize I did not spend a lot of money, but I didn't expect to literally be throwing my money in the trash. Ridiculous.
