Adler-Olsen has a similar style, raw and dark. I found it hard to put down. I like to be entertained and this novel doesn't disappoint.

this author was new to me, suggested by Amazon, based of my previous purchases, and it is wonderful. very funny, fascinating, enigmatic characters, and a brave and resourceful heroine - who could ask for anything more. we know 'whodunnit' quite early, but that just heightens the tension - it became almost unbearable and I seriously had to stop myself from checking the last page to see what happens. a very good novel - don't know if it's part of a series.....hope so.
