Oh man!
What an extremly gifted woman and genius!
I've been following her music ever since "Dolmen Music" and she greatly inspired me in many ways...
I didn't like all of her albums but nevertheless it was always clear to me that she is a very unique and spiritual person/musician.
Her approach can only be called spirtual and even therapeutic.
She incorporates in her music the most beautiful and almost otherworldly singing, solo and ensemble, drama, acting, chorography,Tai Chi,Yoga and and and...
It is clear this is music not only to be listend to but even more so to be seen on stage and get totaly immersed in it.
It has the potential to take you to higher levels of perception and experiencing of yourself/the world.
But I mean that in a good sense, not in any way cheap new-agey.
Very talented singer and great visionary.
If only there were more people like her.
The film is very good, very personal.
It gives great insights into her creating and performing genius.
Lots of performing and music, better than ever you have heard on CD...
Interspersed with interesting interviews of co-musicians,herself and spiritual teachers.
Good mixture of biographical stuff and performances.
In the special features there is a concert of "Dolmen Music" from the 70's and that alone is worth the buy.
If you have ever been interested in her music or if you are into music therapy, art as a spiritual path to transformation -this is it.
