This is indeed a fabulous collection of Mireille's best known French songs. I hope she will publish a collection of her English songs selected from her album "Sweet Souvenirs", her collaboration with Paul Anka, her duet with Patrick Duffy and perhaps some live performances in English from her world tours.

I am SO happy this CD is coming out! It has songs that we Canadians know and love but haven't heard in a while, and a few that we haven't ever seen on any CD before. Since it's destined to the general Canadian market and not to some fan on the other side of the world who already has everything because he is so obsessive, it is the prefect CD for the Canadian public - both anglophone and francophone. Thank you, Mireille! We miss you!

With two exceptions, all the songs can be found on available CDs. What is the point of this CD? There are, in my estimation, more than 500 songs Mireille Mathieu has sung over the years -- so far uncollected & unavailable to the general public! Surely Mireille Mathieu deserves better than that, in this anniversary year?
