took awhile for this to come in the mail and when it arrived I was very nervous. It wasnt wrappped or packed at all - it was shipped in its own box that had no styrofoam padding inside - nothing.
So plugged it in and it worked, so did some apples and within 4-6 hrs they were done.
Since then have done mango, bananas, more apples and moosemeat jerky.
A great machine and am loving it!

Works, and well too. dial is acurate to within ~5*f (using temp probe)
all trays stay equal temperature (again, using a probe) - so no tray rotation is needed.
fan isnt too silent, youll hear it, but quiet enough youll forget you do in 3minutes.
trays are hard as hell to clean, harder then the last one i had, the way the holes are sucks but ive learned
if you soak first, it comes off much better.
ive made jerkey, leathers, chips, crips, herbs. does it all. you wont be dissapointed.
1 roast "med size" fills whole machine, supports up to 12 trays so i would get more if you need more.

We made jerky using hamburger and the jerky seasoning supplied with the dehydrator. It was very tasty and wasn't as salty as jerky usually is. Read more
