This is a series that both my husband and I enjoy. There are enough things that get blown up for him and enough story telling for me. I would totally recommend these DVD's to anyone.

MI-5 is our favourite television series. Entitled "Spooks" in the UK it has been showing in North America both under its original title and also, more commonly, it appears as "MI-5". It focuses on the British Intelligence services- MI- 5 deals with domestic issues and its counterpart MI-6 deals with foreign issues - although quite often the two overlap.
This series is much better than "24"- much more interesting dialogue and characters. The unique aspect of this series is the willingness of the producers to kill off or otherwise get rid of key characters whom the audience has come to love! Very risky but it works because you are always on the edge of your seat not knowing what is going to happen.
The acting of the whole cast (which obviously changes!) is uniformly excellent and compelling. A really thought-provoking series that forces the audience to confront the complex issue of good v. evil.
Highly recommended - but make sure you start with Season 1.....There are now 8 in all so you are in for a real treat!
