I own the first Michael Buble blu ray, and to this day (and I own way to many blu ray concerts!) I feel it has the best audio and video of any of my concerts. So my expectations were pretty high when I bought this one. I was not let down at all. Obviously, the behind the scenes shots are not remastered although they do look better than the original dvd. The audio is perfect. You really feel the concert experience. This blu ray is a must for any Michael Buble fan.

A Little Underwhelming,

I recently arrended a Michael Buble show with my fiance and was amazed at his grasp of his medium so it was a no brainer ro buy this DVD to carch up on what I had missed. Sadly, the viewing experience was not as good as I hoped it would be.The film focuses on the days leading up to Buble's first Madison Square Gaeden show. It features interviews with Buble and his band and film clips of highlights of the concert. Unfortunately ay a mere 68 minutes it does not feature the entire show. The film has its moments:a discussion of starting ar the famed Blue Note six years previously, the interaction og Buble and his musical director but the moments have a tendency to feel staged. The BluRay disc features the main program and two bunus songs. This one would work best as a bonus feature on a complete concert film. It is for true fans or those who just want to check out a small snippet of the performer's work. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful

Too talky,

61 minutes, about half of which is concert footage including audience chats and monologues interspersed with various documentary excursions. The documentary stuff accounts for way to much of the DVD for my taste. Bublé is a talented performer and an engaging personality but this is not the sort of DVD I'd want to watch more than once. |
