5.0 out of 5 stars Step A Side Power Hour Oct 15 2011
Thank you Amazon and Rockpalast.Been a loyal listener of Michael Schenker Group since 1987 even though recognized the well famous logo and split colour of the flying V since 1982.Anyone one who listens to MSG in short knows they had probably no air play at all on any main stream AOR FM station in North America and maybe world as a day to day rotation.Air play on the specialty What Is New ? type of show yes.O.k. I like the group and love Barden's raspy vocals.Cozy plays well and the rest too.I like the line up of that particular episode.I find music plays a big part of history in someone's life but MIchael Schenker Group just are plain good.I loved seeing them play Feels Like A Good Thing because one of my favourite song from their first album.I enjoy the episode and finally got to see something from another country dealing with popular music tv show.We all know that all forms of music sell world wide especially through the net and amazon but years ago the retail side was the place to buy and radio did not support it it was not too easy to buy unless you had an independent retail near you.I really do not agree with my statement because a music listener of whatever would look where ever to find his or her choice of music by word or radio or print to buy.Anyways Michael Schenker Group did actually have a video in 1983 for Rock My Night Away from Built To Destroy but the rotation was once where I was.A video from Manchester U.K. in support of Built To Destroy was on a vhs release but with out north american distribution a high price tag at the time.I was unable to see them live and will love too but the dvd was a very nice chance to see a full visual. The photo of the dvd cover is what I consider a cool image for Mr.Schenker jeans leather jacket sneakers blonde hair and that flying V.The Songs were good and cool to hear. The year of the filming kind of remains in my thoughts as it was a day ago.All those groups back in the late late 1970's early 1980's were just a cool appearance on the record store shelves and photo's in the magazines out at the time too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Hard Rock-Please lets get back to this!!! Oct 31 2010

I loved this DVD from the moment it started playing. Took me straight back to 1980 when I was living a brilliant youth. Ahh. Schenker is in top form and looking cool. The band is on fire with great performances from all concerned. The highlight for me though is the great Cozy Powell. My first drum hero, any footage I can get is a blessing. Amazing that the Schenker studio songs were played by Simon Phillips on record but Cozy rips the rock n roll into them without losing any of the songs finesse or feel. Lets face it Cozy and Simon are poles apart as drummers go. Only highlights Cozys greatness for me. A must for Schenker fans. A must for Cozy fans. Brilliant. Sound and video are good for the times and translate well. This DVD rocks.

This is a fantastic concert...I mean, truly spot on, everyone is on 10...amazing show. Glad I bought this...if you are a fan you will be too...

I am not sure if this is a complete show...but considering the date of the show, it appears the majority of MSG first album and the UFO classics are properly represented. So NO complaints here...

Also, the picture and video and audio are all great...however, please give consideration that this was recorded 30 years ago...and it doesn't appear that any state-of-the-art remastering to the video was done, but don't let that hamper your decision to buy this everything is all good.

A great release, you will enjoy...

Good show and good quality. Shows the band when they first started. With only the first album under their belts they were striving to make their mark in the rock world. Good show.
