5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing innovation, great mobility April 23 2011
I'm absolutely in love with this Microsoft mouse.
First of all, the technology and the design is very unique and amazing. And it is of course very portable, I can literally bring it everywhere with me. The way that the receiver can just stay in the laptop or under the mouse is just great.
I have no complaints about the comfortability either. Of course it's not going to be as comfortable as a normal mouse, but I find it pretty easy to get used to and it fits my hand really well.
The only downside I can think of, would be the fact that its lack of the back/forth button on the side, they could've done it I think because there's the space. Other than that, this is definitely a 5 stars product. I've used my friend's Magic Mouse from Apple, and it is definitely not as comfortable and cool as this.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good functionality, but BAD FOR LARGER HANDS Dec 8 2011
- Great for storage
- Scroll strip flicking motion is amazing, especially for going through long documents. I'm a student, and this made going through 26+ page articles a lot easier.
- Customizable buttons to personalize your experience with different windows programs.
- Battery life indicator
- Bluetrack technology allowed me to use it in different settings while studying, including couch arm rests at coffeeshops and carpet.

- WARNING: Unfortunately the arc of the mouse is not contoured enough to fit my larger hands, and after two days of use I actually started developing signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. It fits fine with smaller hands. Unfortunately I will be returning this mouse.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great overall, learning curve required Nov. 4 2012

The Microsoft arc touch mouse is a beautiful and great product.

I've received many compliments from people saying that they think that the mouse looks really 'sick' and nice. And they are all very amazed by how the mouse works as well.

The learning curve of the mouse is a bit of a problem for people who may find it hard to learn new things quickly. It took me around 2-3 days to get used to the mouse.

I'm currently using Window 8, and sometimes the mouse isn't detected. Especially after putting the system in sleep and waking it back up. If I want to use the mouse, I would have to restart my laptop or else the mouse will never get recognized.

I find the page-up and the page-down button on the center in very odd position. I am never able to use the page-up and page-down the first time I try to press it. And the scrolling function can be very unresponsive at times.

But beyond those points, when the mouse is working the mouse is great. This is the most portable mouse ever, and the USB receiver connects to the back of the mouse strongly, and I have yet to ever experience the receiver lost in my bag. When it's flat, I can slide it in my bag and it take little to no space in my bag.

I also really like the scrolling feedback from the mouse. Although it's flat, when you scroll up on the white bar, you get this *clicking* sound for scroll. That is a really nice feature, and it's not too loud that a even a quiet room is ok to scroll constantly.

I give this product 4-star, because of connectivity issues. But that may be the problem of Window 8, I'm not too sure. And the oddly designed page-up and page-down buttons. They may want to consider two buttons on the sides for that instead. Overall very satisfied with this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Mouse but NOT required for PS3 Input Jan. 28 2013
By Ken L.

Because the ARC keyboard has arrows for directing the cursor when used with a PS3, the ARC mouse isn't really required. However, it's design is sleek and it's comfortable to use, so much so that I use the ARC mouse with my desk top computer. When using the mouse with a PS3, at times, there seems to a contention issue with the hand held Sony controller (which could be due to my lack of mastery of Sony recommended mouse gestures).

5.0 out of 5 stars Love It April 10 2012
The installation is really easy and works out of the box. I've been using it for a month now and I love it! I like the fact that the power shuts down when unfold. The battery that comes with it really last long.
